Welcome to third grade!  I am looking forward to meeting my new students and their parents.  We are going to have a fun and exciting year.  We will be working hard in math, reading, and language and spelling skills. We will also learn cursive this year.  After the winter break look for work to come home written in all cursive! 

This year will also be one of travel and visiting the seven continents. We will include our social studies units, geography and science in with our traveling.  We will start with our own state, then learn about the United States and North America. We will then visit each continent and by the end of the school year return home.

In September we will celebrate Grandparent's Day.  Look for a special invitation to come home for your child's grandma and grandpa.  If the child does not have a grandparent, aunts, uncles and parents are always welcome.

I have an open door policy in my classroom.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to stop by.
